Supporting Westminster’s Youth: Our Commitment to the Brighter Futures Fund

At the heart of every thriving community are its young people. Giving children and young adults the tools, safe spaces, and opportunities they need to build confidence and resilience is essential especially amidst cost-of-living pressures and mental health challenges.

That is why we are immensely proud to support the Young Westminster Foundation’s Brighter Futures Fund.

What is the Brighter Futures Fund?

Established in 2019, the Brighter Futures Fund is the Young Westminster Foundation’s flagship initiative designed to increase long-term, sustained funding for youth provision across the borough. By awarding annual grants of up to £20,000, the fund directly enables grassroots charities, youth clubs, SEND providers, and community organisations to scale up vital services.

For 2026, the fund has awarded over £330,000 across 32 local organisations working with children and young people aged 0–25.

Why We Support This Mission

Real, lasting social impact happens when businesses, local authorities, and community organisations come together. Through a strong partnership alongside Westminster City Council and fellow corporate and funding partners, our support directly addresses the key priorities outlined in the Bi-Borough Children and Young People’s Plan:

  • Engaging & Diverse Activities: Delivering physical, creative, and educational opportunities across sports, music, and performance.
  • Targeted Community Need: Responding directly to challenges identified in the youth-led Our City Our Future 2023/24 needs analysis.
  • Access & Opportunity: Equipping young people with essential life skills, career mentorship, driving license support, and mental health resources.
  • Empowerment & Inclusion: Ensuring young voices are actively listened to and involved in co-designing the local services that affect them.
