Koolesh Shah was thrilled to attend Buckingham Palace last week. The King and Queen welcomed members of the UK-Kenyan community to celebrate 60 years of independence and look ahead to next weeks State Visit to the country.
We are extremely proud of our work in Kenya as a result of the Koolesh Shah family direct donations the partnership with IAfrika has provided education for over 5,000 children in Kenya since 2017. The charity has finalised the development of a junior high school in Nairobi to allow the further development and rehabilitation for children in the area.
The junior school will provide education for over 100 students from the pastoralist neighbourhood.
Collectively as a foundation we have also funded a borehole in Afrika, generating 14,400 litres water per hour, serving foster homes, school, and community centres, and provides for the community and neighbourhood.
