For over 15 years, Kavita has brought a rigorous, structured approach to strategic management, property development, and corporate growth. Operating between the UK and Kenya, she spearheads our commercial and residential real estate expansion in East Africa.
This award highlights the tangible, fact-driven impact she has made across the built environment and local communities:
- Pioneering Sustainable Development: Kavita recently led the successful completion of The Cube on Riverside Drive, Nairobi an 88,000 sq ft Grade-A commercial complex that attained Advanced EDGE certification, setting a new regional benchmark for eco-conscious design and construction.
- Championing Women in Construction: She is a fierce advocate for female empowerment in a traditionally male-dominated sector. Beyond championing high ratios of female construction workers on her sites, Kavita has developed a first-of-its-kind Inclusive Site Checklist, providing developers with a practical framework for implementing safe, equitable sites in practice, not just in policy.
- Philanthropic Leadership: In 2019, she founded Charity Connect, an organization that focuses on transparency and long-term impact. The foundation runs daily feeding programs, builds transition homes for vulnerable youth, and operates women’s tailoring training centers, merging commercial success with deep social responsibility.
